Y.E.S. Breakfast Program

The future of the foundation is as ambitious as ever, with a vow to put food on the breakfast tables of hungry children throughout the state.

Having identified the need, seeing kids come to train on an empty stomach, GART has taken on the provision of nutrition at the root, by identifying schools without the basic facilities, gathering the required expertise and materials, and building kitchens for the local mothers to cook in.

It is a proven sustainable formula of helping the community to help itself, and it works. The model is La Paz, where there are already GART kitchens bubbling away, and now the foundations have been laid for the first in Cabo San Lucas, with plans in nearby San Jose.

With our reliable history of successful projects and strong government support, we have nurtured relationships with food suppliers and been given concrete promises from the construction industry. With this backing we are able to feed a child for as little as $3.00 a week.

With the public's cash donations we can subsidize this program and continue to improve the lives of children in Baja California every day.
