About us

The Foundation,Youth Education Sport (Y.E.S.) in the U.S. and Grupo de Apoyo Ray Thomas (G.A.R.T.) in Mexico, was initially established in 1989 by a group of American softball umpires who wanted to share their passion for sports with Baja's children. The group was met with overwhelming support as people of all ages and backgrounds from the U.S. and Mexico joined forces in order to provide sports programs and equipment to deserving children.

After twenty years of work in communities throughout the Baja, the foundation is proud to now include school breakfast programs, community graffiti clean-ups and a special needs facility, to compliment their sports programs.
